Damien is Partner at Blockwall and Managing Director of Blockwall France leading the early stage investment team. Out of deep passion for tech, Damien has previously been involved in the entrepreneurial ecosystem both as an operator at companies like Rocket Internet as well as a founder of venture backed companies. When not investing, Damien can be seen enjoying and tasting great wine in the south of France.

Syed holds a bachelor's degree in Computer Science & Engineering and an M.Sc. in Finance from the Frankfurt School of Finance & Management. He is the go-to person at Blockwall for tech-heavy deals and also leads Blockwall's AI and data-driven investments platform. In his spare time, Syed enjoys exploring Bavarian lakes, reading mostly non-fiction books, and playing padel.

Max cares deeply about the ownership aspect of crypto, which takes away some control and agency from large centralized players and brings it back to the individual. He is part of the investment team at Blockwall since 2018 and is still as passionate about the future of crypto as on day one. Max holds a B.Sc. in General Management from EBS University. Outside of work you’ll most likely find him reading books or cycling.

Leonard went down the crypto rabbit hole in 2017, taking a hands-on approach with a particular passion for DeFi and dApps. He’s convinced that DeFi represents a fairer and better future for finance. He holds a Master’s in Finance from Northumbria University. Apart from Web3, Leonard is dedicated to longevity — striking a balance between health and wealth, much like optimizing a portfolio for the long term.

Bjarmi is a Analyst and supports the investment team at Blockwall with deal sourcing and research. Having been immersed in crypto since 2019, what he calls being “terminally onchain”, he focuses on DeFi investments and sector research. Curious by nature, he enjoys exploring new protocols, chains, and applications. Bjarmi holds a B.Sc. in Business Administration from the University of Akureyri.

Alexandre is an Analyst at Blockwall, supporting the investment and investor relations teams. Before joining Blockwall, he gained experience in early-stage crypto investing at a VC fund in New York. Driven by a passion for innovation, he enjoys exploring emerging blockchain technologies and working with the founders shaping tomorrow's world. Alexandre holds a BBA in Finance from Hult International Business School. Outside of work, you'll most likely find him travelling, discovering new places, trying local food and visiting art galleries.

Analyst

Debtanu is a Full Stack AI Engineer at Blockwall, where he builds the internal tools and AI systems that help the team find and research Web3 opportunities. Open-source-first by instinct, he loves automating tedious work and building in-house. Before Blockwall, he worked on data science, generative AI, and LLMs at Bosch, and holds a Master's in Computer Science. Outside of coding, you'll find him playing football or table tennis, taking photos, or following Formula 1.
